Winemaker Notes

The year 2013 was a dry year which causes colors and flavors to concentrate more.

 The aromas are plentiful leading with bright ripe blackberry, cola, spice and sweet leather. The mid-palate is dense and firm with core flavors of currant, kirsch, rich cherry, and cedar. There is a pencil lead minerality that mingles with creamy oak and wildflower notes in the finish. The texture is juicy and velvety with layers of soft tannins that finish long.

Winemaker Notes

A full-bodied Pinot Noir with ripe, rich, exotic aromatics and fleshy flavors of black cherry, wild berry mingled with spice, cigar box and earth. Hints of fresh cedar, rhubarb and blueberry turn delicate and complex on the finish. Fans out nicely on the palate.

Our Sauvignon Blanc starts out with warm tropical aromas of mango and passion fruit and is underlined by a well-weighted palate of kiwi, stone fruit and minerality. Soft acidity adds a nice balance to a refreshing crisp finish. A perfect quaffing wine on a summer day or anytime you need a little Encanto in your life!
